Chiropractors can help with pinched nerves in the neck.
The wrenching pain and the sting of every neck turn can be ruthless. Sometimes theseBy downloading the ChiroWebMD mobile app you can better control your patient portal.
So, sure you could rub, use needles, heat, freeze, or even pinch the muscles to feel better, but, you would still have the same problem…. a pinched nerve. Left unattended the same if not similar issues would arise; more often and in many cases with greater intensity. Upper Cervical, otherwise known as upper neck, Chiropractic works with the natural curves in your joints and spine to elegantly remove unwanted pressures in the neck. These special chiropractors have spent extra time learning how to create a tailored correction to the neck to remove such issues without huge forces being applied to the neck. In most cases, the actual adjustment is rarely felt by the client/patient during the correction. This way the healing effects of this gentle correction can occur. You not only feel better but by restoring the health of the nerve you now have the added bonus of healing one step closer to the way creation intended you to.

The reality is that most of the time pain in the neck caused by a “pinched nerve” is actually not caused by a “pinched” nerve. Usually, this type of injury is caused by a small rip or tear in the tissue connected to a nerve, like a muscle or a tendon. The injured tissue then sends a signal to the brain through its attached nerve from which the brain interprets the signal as pain. The brain then relays signals back through the system to immobilize and restrict motion to the area to prevent further injury. Many times, the tissue is just fine and there is no need for all the alarms.BUT THE SIGNAL is being interpreted incorrectly either by the brain or the tissue. How? Well, your nervous system is being blocked by that something we call a SUBLUXATION. Subluxation redirects decrease, and even manipulates signals to and from the brain along the nerves. Chances are you have had a subluxation this whole time, but now that the injury has occurred the signals to and from the injured tissue do not heal or respond like it would if proper nerve function was not being blocked.
